On 21 August 2026, the general meeting of the European Journalists’ Society, as provided for in its Statutes, was held, bringing together participants from Latvia, Lithuania, Georgia, Germany and Argentina. Dmitriy Savvin (Dmitrijs Savins) was re-elected Chair of the Board for the next one-year term.
An Auditor and the Committee for Drafting the Society’s Code of Ethics were also elected.
As several of our colleagues are subject to politically motivated persecution, it was decided, for security reasons, not to publish the full list of the Society’s members and officers at present.
